Looking for something to do this weekend? From the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival to celebrating women in film at the Hollywood Theatre, there's something for everyone.

PORTLAND, Ore. — It's officially spring time in Portland and the cherry blossoms have started to bloom. Where has the time gone? We are officially headed into the second to last weekend of March, another week closer to summer, meaning more to do across the Rose City.

If you're looking for something fun to do, you have options, from the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival to highlighting women in sports at Portland Trail Blazers' Women in Sports Celebration, and celebrating women in film at the Hollywood Theatre — no matter what you're in the mood for, there's something for everyone.

Here are 8 things to do around Portland this weekend.

🌸Cherry Blossoms around Portland metro area🌸

Where: Multiple locations across Portland
What's going on: Portland's cherry blossoms aren’t to be missed. Around this time of year, you can catch them across the Portland metro area. They are a sight to be seen down at the waterfront, specifically Tom McCall Waterfront Park is a great place to catch them. They may not be in full bloom everywhere yet, but a stroll down the waterfront could never be considered a waste of time, so we suggest you get out there for a nice walk and see if you can catch a bloom or two.
